How to find us
Stein am Rhein SH is situated in the Canton Schaffhausen on the Rhine's northern shore and the western shore of Lake Constance. It is sometimes confused with Stein Ausserhoden (AR) or Stein im Fricktal (AG).
From Geneva, Berne, Zurich, Zurich Airport:
Motorway A1 to Junction Zürich- Nord. At Exit No 73, change onto A7 towards Konstanz/ Kreuzlingen/
Frauenfeld.
Leave A7 at exit No. 3 Frauenfeld West.
At the intersection, turn left onto Weststrasse. Stein am Rhein is shown on signs from here. Pass through the first roundabout towards Weiningen. Pass through Weiningen towards Herdern.
In Herdern, turn left towards Kalchrain.
Pass through Kalchrain towards Bornhausen. Pass through Bornhausen towards Eschenz.
In Eschenz, turn left onto Wagenhauserstrasse towards Stein am Rhein / Schaffhausen.
In Stein am Rhein „Vor der Brugg“ , turn right towards Oehningen (D). Cross the little bridge across the Rhine and continue towards Radolfzell(D) We are situated on Oehningerstrasse 2, as is the entrance to our underground garage.
From Bregenz/ St. Gallen:
From Bregenz, cross the Swiss border at Hard and continue on the A1 towards St. Gallen.
From St. Gallen, follow A1 to Oberwinterthur. Turn onto the A7 towards Konstanz/Kreuzlingen/Frauenfeld.

From Munich:
German Autobahn A 96 to Lindau. In Lindau, change onto the B 31 towards Friedrichshafen/ Meerburg/
Überlingen. Continue on B31 to the beginning of A 98 near Stockach. At Kreuz Hegau follow A 81 towards Schaffhausen.

From Stuttgart/ Singen:
German Autobahn A 81 to Kreuz Hegau. Continue on A 81 towards Schaffhausen.
Leave the Autobahn at Exit No. 42 and follow B 314 towards Hilzingen/Waldshut-Tiengen/Singen Weststadt/ Industriegebiet Gottmadingen.
Follow B 314, pass straight through the first roundabout. After 1.3 km, turn right onto B 34. After 2 km, turn left onto L 222 towards Rielasingen. Stein am Rhein is shown on signs from here. In Rielasingen, turn right onto Hauptstrasse (L 191) towards Ramsen.
In Ramsen you will cross the Swiss Border and continue towards Hemishofen and Stein am Rhein. In Stein am Rhein, follow the signs leading to „Transit Radolfzell“ , respectively follow the amber- coloured signs to Hotel Chlosterhof via Chlini Schanz, Obertor, Grossi Schanz, Oehningerstrasse, where Hotel Chlosterhof is situated.
